Battle Of Birdy’s: Week 9

After 8 weeks of some of the most intense action “rock n’ roll’s nesting grounds’ has ever seen, the first round of the Battle of Birdy’s has finally reached its conclusion, but before we can completely close the book on it, we’ve got 5 more acts looking to prove themselves to their peers, and the audience that holds their fate in their collective hands.

Battle Of Birdy’s: Week 8

While 14 bands have secured their spots and now anxiously await their next performance in the Battle of Birdy’s, we still have two more weeks left in this first round. Tonight, we have six more groups anxious to show why they deserve to move on and compete for a myriad of prizes including bragging rights, studio time and spending cash, but like all weeks, only two of them can move on.

Battle Of Birdy’s: Week 7

After a quiet past few weeks, it’s refreshing to see the place buzzing with activity again. Some people have taken seats at some of the tables, the PBR is flowing at the bar, and I’m left trying to find a place to park elsewhere. After finding a space where I wouldn’t get towed and entering the building, I see that our first band has already taken the stage.

Tonight, only 3 bands will get their shot at to compete for grand prize that includes bragging rights, spending cash, recording studio time, and even more. It’s quiet, it’s cool, it’s a little rainy outside, and for the sixth week, it’s time to get this party started. So in the words of The Joker: “here…we…go…”

It’s quiet, the crowd at this point is modest at best, and after finding a spot on the floor, it’s time to get this battle started. Our first band is introduced and Week 4 is now underway!
