The TSO has become an annual Christmas tradition, and an unexpected one at that. This progressive metal band successful combined hard rock and heavy metal, with a full choir and symphony arrangement, entirely themed around both original and classic Christmas music, and all the while has been able to be commercially viable selling over 10 million concert tickets and an additional 10 million albums. Not bad for a band that never once played a local club or bar show… nor have they ever had an opening act or even BEEN an opening act. Talk about zero to 60.
