Sammy Hagar
Few musicians have done so well in multiple groups as well as on a solo career. In nearly half a century of rocking, The Red Rocker rose to stardom in the hard rock band Montrose, which then made way for a successful solo career. That was put on hold for a decade-long stint in the legendary band Van Halen. It didn’t stop with that as he went right back into his solo career. Later, he would reunite with Van Halen for two years as well as join in the supergroup Chickenfoot with virtuoso guitarist Joe Satriani, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
