The discography of Marianas Trench consists of four studio albums, three extended plays, sixteen singles and sixteen music videos. Much of Ramsay’s inspiration for the band’s more upbeat, pop songs comes greatly from The Jackson 5. Ramsay was a fan of the Motown sound ever since his childhood, and after the great success of “Call Me Maybe”, the song which he co-wrote, he wrote “Pop 101” in order to comically explain the process of writing pop music.
