Having only been founded in 2008, it only took a mere three years for Michael Fitzpatrick and his Tantrums to be noticed by Rolling Stone in 2011. But it was even nearly an entire year before this when their debut studio album ‘Pickin’ Up The Pieces’ hit the shelves and quickly ended up at Number 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Since then they have become a major player in the pop/rock genre, but have managed to stand out with a highly energetic stage show, and a very heavy soul element that makes up the base of their sound.
