Filter is a product of front-man Richard Patrick’s desire to keep on keeping on after leaving Nine Inch Nails as their touring guitarist, and that relation can be heard in their driving industrial metal influence. The band has released seven studio albums with a slew of band members that come and go with a “revolving door.” Patrick has remained at the helm and kept Filter’s sound consistent, direct, and unique.
