Although this Chicago-based trio has been playing together since 1992, they officially formed this co-led group in 2000 and have recorded four albums in that time. While the trio displays elements of the soul jazz and hard bop styles of jazz, they have also been known to utilize blues music as well as the rhythm & blues and funk music mediums in their music.
