WARMfest @ Broad Ripple Park in Indianapolis — For the first time ever, Indianapolis played host to the White River Arts and Music Festival – or “WARMfest,” where artists on both the local and national levels would congregate to Broad Ripple Park for a celebration of all things, well, art and music.

It’s quiet, the crowd at this point is modest at best, and after finding a spot on the floor, it’s time to get this battle started. Our first band is introduced and Week 4 is now underway!
...it’s a nice change of pace, as their back-and-forth 25-minute set feels more like storytelling than a standalone performance.
Miss World Wide and Knowledge
The Battle of Birdy’s resumed action last Friday night, where once again, some of the local Indy scene’s finest will give it their all to prove that they belong at the top of the mountain, and while each is worthy in their own way, only two more will move on.
...Yes clearly knows who their audience is, and those who grew up with them are clearly loving every second of it.
Yes @ The Murat Theatre in Indianapolis — The theatre itself is also starting to fill out, with many already seated and the rest trying to find their seats before the show begins. Before too long, the lights go out, and we’re treated to a brief video package set to an excerpt from Stravinsky’s “Firebird Suite” that highlight the three albums that we would all hear this evening. The band greets the crowd, and we’re underway.
